I'm dying inside. ;)

I just left the cutest fish at Pet*Smart. I want him so bad but I just don't know. We are moving this Summer and I really shouldn't get anymore fish, also I have been busy. To busy to clean tanks, I want to get rid of a few tanks. But its hard not to get more fish when I have room! I have come up with an idea for cleaning tanks but I will see if it works this weekend.
I loved that little guy so much! He was white with some grey streaks, and in just the right light the streaks turned a bluish color. But the thing that I loved the most was his little face!! It was super adorible!! White face, with little black eyes that stared right at me, as if saying, "please take me home to a warm tank to be loved." <3 but I left him because as usual, my anxiety started up. I started thinking I couldn't take care of him and I would be to tired to clean the tank.
I loved him so much I had to make this thread on him.
I need serious help...

weeellll.......you could get him and keep him in a one gallon for now. Easy cleaning, just put in some floating plants, bare bottom.

Sorry, I am a betta enabler

I think we all feel your pain. I saw one a week ago I still can't get off my mind. Problem was, my wife played dirty. I have a big fishing weekend coming up with my best friend. She told me if I bought another tank I wouldn't have the money to go on my trip. Frustration? Oh hell yes!!!! :f rustrated::fru strated:

I can't help you. I just gave in and brought my third one home. The look on my fiance's face who "doesn't care" was priceless when he found out. It's hard to say no to yourself. The obvious answer is to addict a friend/significant other to the hobby then get them to fall in love with your potential fish.

I feel your pain! I'm always trying to justify another tank, a new fish, when I see one that speaks to me. Not too long ago I set myself a limit of 4 tanks... and well, I have 7 now. See how well that worked for me?

Haha, yeah. I have tried to set a limit but that never works. My mom came up with something to help. For every 2 fish I gove away, or that pass away, I get 1. Now I have to have to make sure my friend is taking one of my boys. We have talked about it. I have 2 of my friends with fish now, and her sister is about to get one.

That is so funny! My brother usually says, "Another fish?!"

She didn't play dirty. She was the voice of reason.
