My betta story

Hi, I'm Kim, a new betta mom

I purchased a betta for my 9 year old son after all his sea monkeys from Christmas died. I did very little research and set him up in the one gallon tank we had for the sea monkeys. After setting him up, I googled and came across this forum and started reading up on betta care. I am smitten with this fish. In the 2 weeks since I bought him, I have upgraded his tank to a 3 gallon, moved him out of my son's room to the living room and spent upwards of 3 times the amount I set out to spend. He is a beautiful crowntail purchased at walmart. He seems to be in good health and to be quite pleased with his new home. I am amazed daily at how much personality he has and how much I enjoy him. Now I have my heart set on a half moon betta.
