he is a halfmoon and most likely a marble which means he'll change colors.. he is very pretty!!! does he have a name???

He is gorgeous. I have seen a couple marbles who do end up like that for some period of time so I'd be interested to see if he does end up getting more color later or if that's his real color

His name is Hermes and he is 5 month old.İ dont think he is going to chance color. İts my only baby from golden mother and pastel father. When he was fry i tough he is albino but he is keep suprising me.i will try to breed him with another golden maybe i get some nice butterflys still looking for pro breeders to answer.

Ahh. Well if you bred him and neither parent seems to have a marble gene, my guess is he doesn't either ;) he is definitely gorgeous though. I could see him making beautiful children with a wide variety of different females

Seeing as I haven't ever bred bettas and I don't know too much about the genetics of these fish, I'm probably not the best person to ask. However, my opinion would be that you should find another female that is light like he is with just a small shimmer of some other color (like a light blue) I think that would look good but again not sure how the genetics of it would work
