Yupp... Another rescue... In bad shape!

Went to petsmart today to return poor Tequila who passed away yesterday, and get a new betta in need. I walked out with a poor veiltail boy who has ammonia burns, fit rot everywhere, a minor case of popeye and he's bloated!

I've named him Ducky, I'm really worried about him, he's not doing well at all. So everyone cross your fingers that he pulls through

Oh, I hope he survives. I am sure he will be beautiful when he is all healed and healthy. I am sending him good vibes. I have seen your posts about your rescues and just want say that I think you are doing a great thing. I know it must be hard when you care for them and they don't make it, but you gave them a good home in the end. Wishing you and Ducky all the best!

He looks a lot like one of my VTs named Amethyst. Sure hope you can help him....that amount of bloat is what worries me the most.....good luck!

Unfortunately Ducky didn't even make it past 24 hours... poor guy, I feel awful that I couldn't save him!

I am sorry to hear about Ducky. At least he had clean water, a warm home and someone who cared for him for part of his life.

Awww....sorry to hear that....

You can't save them all....but how wonderful that you are trying to save so many! You're putting a lot of positive energy out there into the world with your kindness, and that is an amazing thing!
