Very young blue beauty

I found her at Petsmart and she looked pretty beat up and skinny (you can probably tell in the pics). I could resist those eyes :)

She is becoming much more lively after a few days in her new tank and LOVES to explore the little caves and decorations. She also loves swimming through the hornwort plant I floated in there for her because it provides a lot of cover. I'm feeding her crushed NLS pellets and she loves em. Still no name for yet. I'm loving her personality though, and can't wait to see her grow up :_)

P.S. you can't tell in this pic but she has red ventral fins. She is really stunning.

It's so funny watching her swim along the bottom slowly fascinated by every little thing around her :)

I think I'm gonna name her "Ella" after Ella Fitzgerald.

She is a cutie. I too resently found a beauty at my local Wal-Mart, all white body with deep purple on just the tips of her fins. I kills me a little on the inside that I can't aford her as she is a double tail. She flares and dances in her cup when I go visit her.

I watch her and since I work at this particular Wal-Mart Ive asked the DM of the area to keep an eye on her for me and he agreed to let me take care of her as long as I didn't let it get in the way of my other tasks. Hes a fish enthusiest as well but he likes Oscars best.
