Cyclops?

What do you all think about feeding cyclops? I have a small pond I was hoping would have smaller litter jiggers in it but all I can find is the cyclops. I gave one to my little petco baby and she loved it, just want to make sure they are ok to feed for awhile.

I wouldn't feed anything out of a pond mainly due to the likelihood of parasite introduction.

I made a ID mistake, they are actually Daphnia. Kinda hard for me to see things that small.
I'm not overly worried about parasites. I've often caught wild food for my fish and reptiles. Once it gets a bit warmer, I will be able to collect blackworms and water fleas.
