Very mild fin rot?

Housing
What size is your tank? 10 gallons, divided
What temperature is your tank? 79 F
Does your tank have a filter? Yes
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? No.
Is your tank heated? Yes
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? He used to live with tetras, but they nipped his fins (only once or twice). Now he lives in a divided ten gallon but currently the other section is empty.

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? NLS and Omega-One pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? Around 6 pellets daily

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? Weekly
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a wate change? 25%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? API stress coat condtioner

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters? Yes

Ammonia: 0ppm
Nitrite: 0ppm
Nitrate: 0ppm (I did a water change yesterday, but usually it's at 10-20)
pH: 8.2
Hardness: didnt test
Alkalinity: didnt test

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? His fins are almost healed from the nippy tetras, but today I noticed that he has a black dot on the tip of his fin. His caudal fin seems a bit clamped. I also noticed a couple of his scales fell off.

When did you start noticing the symptoms? Today
Have you started treating your fish? No
Does your fish have any history of being ill? no
How old is your fish (approximately)? Bought him about a month ago

Should I add AQ salt? I'll try to get a picture of him later.

Do you have that spongebob thing in his tank still? It has metal and is causing a lot of betta death and disease.

No, I took it out a couple weeks ago. I also tested all of my plants with a magnet.

I can't think of anything...I'll try to post a picture of him and his tank later, maybe you'll notice something I'm not. Should I do anything or just wait for him to heal on his own?

As long as he is otherwise acting okay I wouldn't do anything else yet.
