The Marine Pellets should be okay? The ingredients in both are pretty much the same, except the Marine Pellets actually have more stuff in them. Will it be okay?

Me too. I'm pretty excited. Once I get more money, I'm going to get another desk lamp to light it and get some 6500k bulbs and pick up a few plants. My LFS has some really nice looking ones, and I found Java Fern and Wisteria. The Wisteria was really pretty!

Got Tiny Tina's tank set up today! I decided to move her tank to my bookcase instead of my nightstand, where she's been since I got her. Now she and Patriot both are on my bookcase, side by side. Makes it easier to feed them and clean their tanks if they're next to each other, rather on opposite sides of the room. Patriot will be getting a water change tomorrow. If I wasn't so tired today, I would have done it today, while I was doing Tiny Tina's!

Here's her new set up.

This is Patriot's set up.

And this is the both of them. :) Tiny Tina's acclimating.

I found out that I can indeed bring a 10 gallon to college with a filter and heater, so I'll be bringing them with me! I'm going to start a planted tank, next time I have money. :) I'm going to get some anubias, java fern, hornwort, and moss balls. I might just start their 3 gallon KKs off with plants soon, and get lamps for each tank.

Thanks! I'm really glad I picked up an adjustable heater for her. Now she won't be chilly anymore. She used to have one of those crappy Tetra preset ones from Walmart. Now she has an adjustable that will keep her nice and warm like Patriot. Just gotta slowly move it up to 80 degrees, so she doesn't freak out like Patriot did when I first changed his temperature to 80 degrees. :(
