Hydra and fry

So I've never noticed this in my past breeding tanks, but this time around there seems to be an abundance of Hydra blooming in my breeding tank. Has anyone experienced a presence of Hydra in their breeing tank in the past? Does this pose a threat the the small fry at all??

It can be a problem for new born fry and tiny shrimpletts-the hydra will sting them-then eat them.
Usually they are not a problem for older/bigger fry-but they can do some damage when the fry first hatch and first weeks of free swimming. The male should eat some of the hydra-but if you have a bad outbreak in the spawning tank-you might want to dump it and start it over-unless its a planted tank or you already have fry. Then you gotta mess....

Darn...I have at least 200 fry swimming around and I'd rather not do a ginormous water change since they're so young. I'm gonna have to keep a close eye on them...
