Oh, boy, I think I fell off the wagon...

I resisted so many beauties at Petsmart, only for this to happen. My girlfriend is going to be sooo displeased. Went out to celebrate my dad's birthday. Afterwards, my mom and I went to Walmart to pick up some misc. household items. I left with a new (albeitly very cheap) tank, a heater, and...dun dun DUNNN a little crowntail.

Colour ID? Better pictures coming...sometime.

Also, if anyone is in the area, there are some very brightly coloured solid veiltails (a red without any visible irridescent, a vivid green blue, and a pure blue) with, I dare say, near perfect finnage and this boy:

He's beautiful!! And so unique looking! Not sure if he would be considered a multi or a bi-color but he's gorgeous either way!

ETA: OMG that black crowntail! *drool* Where in jersey are you? Lol

I know... He is gorgeous. But my family is traditional and superstitious and would freak out if I get a black animal.

I live in Northern Jersey. In Union County. It's about a thirty minute to NYC from here.

Yeah, it sounds stupid, but they're as set in their ways and conservative as people come. xD

Uh-oh! Your new boy is grorgeous! I love the yellow on him. Sounds like it would have been hard for a lot of us to walk out of that store without a fish. Looks like they had some great finds! I have an all-black crowntail and he is wonderful!

Beautiful Crowntail! It's nice (in a way!) that Walmart carries Bettas in your area. They really downsized our Pet department in our local one to expand it into a Super-Walmart. Took out the majority of the fish supplies while they were at it. Now I actually have to go to a Petsmart or Petco for most of my needs (and wants).
