Looking for a quiet air pump

So I went and purchased a new tank for my little guy, the Tetra Cube 3 Gallon Kit and it came with an okay air pump. It has a slight buzz which doesn't bother me much, but I'm wondering if there are any out there that are almost silent? Or is it impossible to get around the buzzing noise from an air pump?

PS. I'm not using the filter from this kit, its crap. I just water change every few days.

I have the tetra whisper air pumps & they're not completely silent but pretty close to it & much quieter than filters I've had. I've been told that eventually they start rattling due to the constant vibration; he said he wrapped his with a towel held by a rubber band before that happens. I've not tried that yet.

Too noisy and vibrates too much, try Topfin mini, it is quiet and a workhorse.

The ones I have; 10g, 20g & a 40g, all have one port but I have the 40g set up with a wye connection going to 2 10g tanks. One of my 10g air pumps is noisier than the others for some reason, could be the location somewhat magnifying the noise. These are not completely silent but for me they very low noise & I rarely ever notice them, if a cord lays on the pump it really rattles.

I tried out a small top fin pump & found it much louder, I didn't like it.

This is quite interesting, I actually tried the whisper and Topfin Mini and the whisper was louder, has stronger vibration and actually jumps on the flat surface. My Topfin Mini did not have that at all. Oh even I if I put them on top of a folded towel to mute the noice of vibration against a hard surface, Topfin still gets better results in noise and vibration.

In my quest for a quiet pump, I also tried Marina mini for my 5g AQ., it is the same as Whisper in noise and vibration, if not worse.

The quietest one I've found is the whisper too, and I've gone through a lot trying to find a silent one.

Marina is definitely louder.

I've never tried the topfin because it's not a very reliable brand for many other things.. produced many a fish killing product, but I suppose something that runs outside the tank can't hurt.
