Omega one vs. New life spectrum betta pellets

Hello! I would just like to start a friendly debate about which of those two brands make better betta pellets, and why! Have fun!

Coke and Pepsi, chocolate and vanilla. It is good at least to seem to have a choice and to have the choices be so good. You say, "Potato"; I say, "Potato."

I've only used Omega One, but my bettas love it! It's nice and small, too. One of my boys used to choke on the larger (and much less healthy) pellets I used to feed him, so it's nice not to have to break them up.

I have noticed lately that omega one has changed the shape of their pellet...It seems to be more of a flat disc than a classic pellet...has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah, that's how mine are. I think maybe they float better that way? Just a guess, though.

NLS all the way. Sorry guys.

NLS-
Whole Antarctic krill meal, whole herring meal, whole wheat flour, algae meal, garlic, soybean isolate, beta carotene, spirulina, vegetable and fruit extract (spinach, red and green cabbage, pea, broccoli, zucchini, tomato, red bell pepper, kiwi, apricot, pear, mango, apple, papaya, peach), vitamin a acetate, DL alphatocophero (E), d-activated animal sterol (D3), vitamin B12 supplement, thiamine, riboflavin supplement, pyridoxine hydro-chloride, calcium pantothenate, L-ascorby-2-polyphosphate (stable C), choline chloride, copper proteinate, ethylenediamine dihydroiodide, cobalt sulfate, ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate.

Omega one-
Whole Salmon, Halibut, Shrimp, Wheat Flour, Wheat Gluten, Fresh Kelp, Astaxanthin, Lecithin, L-Ascorbyl-2-Phosphate (Source of Vitamin C), Natural and Artificial Colors, Vitamin A Acetate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Vitamin E Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Folic Acid, Biotin, Inositol, Tocopherol (Preservative), Ethoxyquin (Preservative).

As you can see, both brands have whole fish first. But... NLS uses garlic, spirulina, and other fruits and veggies (in small amounts), which really help to bring out color. Garlic acts as an amazing parasite preventor. Omega one uses wheat qluten, NLS uses whole wheat flour.

Agreed. Also, NLS is all natural and has no ethoxyquin...

And ALSO the fact that Omega one just has whole fish and not meal bothers me...because I don't know for sure of it's abundance in the food...whole meats are 80% water, which gets evaporated out when the food is cooked...

Yes but I am pretty sure that the ingredients are measured in the final product.
