Confession Time

So. I was at wal-mart today and noticed at least half the bettas were swimming in a ridiculous amount of excrement! I pulled a bottle of that bottled betta safe water that doesn't need conditioning and totally changed their water when no one was looking. This is going to sound so nerdy, but it was such a rush!!! Don't worry, i took the empty water bottle up to checkout and pain for it. The cashier knew what i had done and just laughed, and then stealthily threw it away for me.

If i had got caught, i would have just asked them why they had a problem with me using treated water (that I gave them money for) to save the fish that would have died a slow and painful death anyways. IN YO FACE WAL-MART.

Anyone ever done something like this? or crazier?

Oh wow what to say but you are WONDERFUL!!!! they really couldn't say anything when you were going to pay them for the water and were doing the jobs that they were getting paid to do for free. They should be thanking you, don't think that would happen but hey I will.......Thankyou, the world needs more people like you!

Afraid I'm not as brave as you........ the pet shop staff in our largest store which is the one that neglects their bettas the worst would have you up for stealing whether or not you offered to pay for the water

hmmmm maybe ill pay for it FIRST next time and then just sneak back there and show them the receipt. Although "Girl incarcerated for theft of betta water used to safe bettas at same location" as a headline sounds pretty awesome to me :))
