My bettas jump when they see toothpicks- it means they are getting brine shrimp!

My female does not like me touching the sponge that is baffling her filter. she is ridiculously territorial over it. She will jump and try and bite me if i touch it.

Hm...I might have to reward them when they go after it.

HAHA this is the best thread ever. My veiltail is terrified of teal, and my crowntail loves to play with a turkey baster (not really a set off but effing hilarious)

Odysseus is a coward who swims away from *everything*, so I can't go near the tank. If I want to feed him, I have to sneak up and drop the food in while he isn't looking.

My girls are the complete opposite, and want to investigate everything, all the time, which sometimes the other fish aren't too happy about.

basically gets mad at any movement made near the tank! its funny cause he is at my desk and stares at my laptop and when I move the mouse arrow around he gets so mad and starts wanting to dodge it! but he will flare at anything

My betta is actually pretty chill guy. He isn't agressive to the cories in the tank, and he does a little dance along the glass when he knows he is getting fed.

However my betta either has a deep hatred towards snails, or finds them delicious. He ate the feelers off this snail, I didn't even notice till it was too late. Poor snail never came out again and later died..

He only flares at his own reflection though. Never at me, never at something I put near the tank, nothing except a mirror.

Peanut,Button & Piglet are all very easy going, nothing seems to worry them, they are all super friendly & playful.I guess the only thing would be that they like flaring at their reflections sometimes, and Peanut especially likes chasing after the gravel vac during a wc,which is really funny & cute.
