What kind of gravel should you get for bettas

Should you get bright gravel for bettas.

from my experiance, my betta flares alot at anything bright and unaturall looking. so if yours is like mine, ill go with dark gravle if i were you.
(what i think looks amazingly cool is dark blue and black gravle mixed together)

i think dark read would be fine again as long as its not bright and flashy your betta shouldn't have a big problem with it

you can...I have teal in one tank, dark blue in another and black & white in my 40 gal....but you pick out what you like..some fish like darker colors like Angels..but Bettas I think would be ok with color..maybe someone on this board with more experience knows something otherwise.

Dark colors are generally considered more calming for all fish. Not that bright colors aren't done, but you want to make sure they have plenty of places to hide.
