Congrats on the human baby Hail! You have your hands full, but lots of love to around in your house I'm sure! My daughter is two & absolutely adores the fish. She's not good with furry animals, but with our bettas it's like she knew instinctively not to put stuff in the tank or to try to feed them. She likes to hug their tanks though. It's so cute & something her & I share together. She even helps with water changes. In fact her & I just got back from a big LFS in my area & she loved it!

I bought my 29 gal. for MY baby, Jax.
His favorite color is yellow (he likes his yellow balls & toys best, go fig.) & he likes the fish at the vet's. I'm trying to get as many yellow girls in my sorority as possible- he can't seem to see the dark colored fish.

I have a human baby, too, but he's 26 & living 3,000 miles away

How adorable!
Isn't it rewarding how they blossom once we get them out of those stupid cups!

That is absolutely the best part about rescued bettas. :) I know there are arguments about buying only breeder bettas...and I agree with most of them...but even then, all nine of mine are LFS rescues. ;)
I just can't turn down those little faces...

And Hail, your new fishies are SO cute! I love the baby, and I wonder if denim will darken now that she's home and in good hands. :) Either way, they're both beautiful little fishies! :)
And congratulations on your new human baby. :)
I know that divorce is always hard...but I will say, as some small, silver lining...at least your ex-husband cares enough about your kids to want to be a part of their lives and to care enough to want partial custody. I know it's got to be SO hard, but best wishes to all you guys that things turn out for the best!!

Thank you

There is a little more to the custody battle. I really don't want to talk about on here but I'm hoping that everything works out in the end.
