Ammonia for cycling?

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction... I'm looking for ammonia to cycle my 20 gal with (fishless cycle of course). I checked both walmart and publix, but they both have ammonia with surfactants and they bubble when I shake them. I heard they aren't supposed to have surfactants. Just pure ammonia. Does anyone know what other place I could try?

Ace Hardware is the place to go, that's where I bought mine. :) 1ml of Ace Hardware Ammonia = 4ppm.

Great!! I just saw it on their website =] Just a quick question. On the website they sell like a big pack for about $30. Were you able to buy just a small bottle at the store? Was it expensive?

The "small" bottle was pretty big; they were sold separately, though. I think I paid $8-$12 or so.

I found it!! Around $4 for a WHOLE GALLON O.O I think I'll have enough ammonia to cycle every tank I'll ever get to own and then pass some down to my kids an grandkids. It doesn't say ingredients but it does say Janitor Strength, and well it says 10% ammonia hydroxide. I hope this was the correct one.

Yep, that's it. Truth is, you only need to cycle your tank once and then you don't need to cycle your others! Just seed the other tanks with your media and it should be good to go in 2 weeks or so! Of course, you can still do it the harder way if desired. lol
