Place them in their own small tanks (heated to about 76-78).
Place the tanks side by side, but stick a paper or piece of cardboard between the two tanks so they can not see each other.
Only allow them to see one another for 5-10 minutes a day.
Feed 3-5 times a day frozen and live foods.. if you can't get ahold of live foods then frozen bloodworms, along with high quality pellets will be fine.
Can take 3-14+ days for the female to become eggy.
Look at her belly.. if her belly is big and round before the feeding then she is eggy..
You want to make sure you give them plenty of food - especially the male as he will spend days not eating and continuously on the move.
