tankmates

I have a betta in a 10 gallon tank and i was wondering what fish would i be able to put in with him, maybe some that would require groups to u kno, keep superman in line, i want 2 oto's and some other fish, gut i dont know which ones are compatible with bettas, please help out

I have assorted tetras...and 3 Big angelas in a 40..The Angels were firrst. :)

wont my betta attack the angels???? i read somewhere that they might cause conflict?

mine don't...I think they arre used to each other...you might want to be carful about putting in Angels..Tetras are pretty non threatening and they come in many colors.

tetras have a reputation for fin nipping... and a betta has long fins sooo there could be a problem there.

especially since bettas are very slow swimmers so he will be a sitting duck to the fin nipping 8) maybe try some platys, thats what im doing.

I have never had a problem with that and I have had tham al together for over a year now...so I would think it would have happened by now............

Angels will NOT fit in a 10 gallon tank. Remember the tank size when recommending tank mates guys!

I'd recommend some bottom dwellers. A shoal of cories would look very nice, and they won't bug the betta (nor will he bug them).

cool ill get about 3 cories 2morrow, and 2 ottos, and possibly a mystery snail do u think thts to crowded?
