Best way to get the fish out the cup and leave the yuck behind?

The box store and one could not be left.... He is handsome I am acclimating by small amount in cup. Will change 100% in a few hours. I don't any of this want this to come with him (it's worse than it looks very foul!):

I've found that the best method is either netting (which can be done over a nearby sink and then running to the tank), or by using a spoon. When using a spoon, just get as much water out of the cup as possible while still letting the fish be wet. Then tilt it over and gently coax out with a spoon. This can be difficult, but mine always jump into their tank, so nothing from their cup gets in.

I'm not on my regular computer so the photo isn't showing up, and I can't see where the "yuck" is located..... If it's on the bottom, I use a turkey baster to remove anything on the bottom. Then I just acclimate for a long time, where I keep removing small amounts of yucky water from the cup, and replace it with an equal volume of new water. (About 1 to 1.5 ounces each time.) For a new fish, I'll do this for several hours, and gradually, the water becomes cleaner. When he's ready to put into the tank, I'll remove as much water as I can, still with the turkey baster. Then I slowly allow the cup to fill with new water, and I release him into the tank.

I realize there are a lot of ways to do this, but this is the method that has worked well so far for me. I can't see the pic though, so I don't know specifically what you're dealing with in the cup.

The yuck is all over in the cup. It's one of those, "pet store employees didn't clean the cups," type of things. :/

I think I will have to go with the spoon method as I don't own a turkey baster but that is a good idea.
