Hi, I'm a relatively new betta mom. I had a betta a couple of years ago who lived in a vase with a plant on top....but a few weeks ago, I got a new one. Zoom lives in a 5 gal. Eclipse Hex. He's been the happiest fish, and I guess he still is, but I'm having a cloudy water situation that worries me. The test strips show that my water is acidic, and the water is cloudy. After water changes, it's still somewhat acidic. Ammonia is not a problem.
I'm a real novice at this aquarium stuff, but I want to take good care of Zoom. I have another betta in an Eclipse 5 Corner, and he's having no problems at all.
Zoom's tank has two silk plants, and a plastic cave. He has regular aquarium gravel, andsome well-washed glass stones added. Nothing is new, food hasn't changed, what's with my acidity problem?
