Question How to make a baffle for this filter?

Hello all. Just got a new filter and I'm not sure how to baffle it. The current is really really strong and definitely not calm enough for my sister's male betta. However I'm not sure how to go about doing the plastic bottle baffle method because this filter is set up differently.

Anyone know how to baffle this? Thanks. :)

Can you put aquarium sponge behind the cover where the holes are? What brand filter is it by chance

There is one in there but it barely slows down the current. It's a BioStream filter.

Maybe cover the intake with the aquarium sponge? Or you can raise the water level.

If you take a thick aquarium sponge, rubberband it on there tight, and make sure you let several inches of the sponge hang down into the water, that should probably fix it for you. You may have to take a second rubberband and attach the sponge down lower as well (in the water) like to the intake tube or something like that.

Here is a truly terrible Microsoft Paint rendering of what I mean. ;)

I used pantyhose to baffle mine. It may be easier to wrap it around and will look less intrusive.
