Wink A good heater? And a bit of help for a newb?

Hello, there! Well, I'm planning on getting another betta (my other one recently passed away :c ) but I'm not sure what type of heater to get him. You see, my other one's heater broke a bit after he died. Please make it be able to fit a ten gallon tank!

And how do I make a profile pic?

Sorry for your loss. Either a aqueon or hydor adjustable heater would be good

Welcome to the forum! If you can find them (but usually they are very rare) aquaclear heaters are great. Otherwise Elite Mini is amazing, Eheim Jager is good (and calibrate- able). Just make sure you can set the temperature and it's not pre-set. You would need a 50-100W heater but 50 would be best.

To set a profile picture, go to the menu under the top banner on the site and click "quick links"----->User Control Panel then look on the left menu and click Edit profile picture near the top of the options menu.

Also, check craigslist and ebay, heaters can be expensive, and sometimes you can find good deals on there. :)

I'm going with an Eheim Jager 50w thermostat heater. It had a lot of good reviews, and it has a controllable temperature. :)
