So now that I have a planted tank he is swimming around so LIVELY! Very interested in everything!

How often should i change the water in this tank? (Its a 4 gallon biorb flow)
Do i take him out while i change the water and condition it?

You can do a 25-50 percent water change weekly to keep your betta nice and healthy and very nice tank upgrade

My newest guy went from a 2 gallon to a 5 gallon today, too. He seems very happy, investigating every nook and cranny. I LOVE your new tank, and I'll bet Wigglesworth is thrilled!

Yay! What a terrific upgrade! Good job, and he even looks perky.

I would be concerned that a single 50% change per week won't be enough. Read the stickie titled "OldFishLady's Water Change Recommendations". Can't go wrong following those.

Adorable Betta, and very pretty tank.

I do a 50 percent weekly vacuum WC on my cycled 5 plus gallon tanks, and all is well. The 3 gallon tanks and uncycled tank get cleaned about 3 times a week.
