need help with female conditining

ok I have a female crowntail in a jar in a 5 gallon tank with a heater which keeps the water at 80 degrees filled up half way
with the male in sight. they seem to be interested in each other but ive been conditioning her for 2 weeks and she stil doesn't have vertical stripes. I feed her three different kind of foods freezedried bloodworms
topfin color enhancing pellets and tetra bettaplus pellets. she looks eggy but doesn't seem spawn ready.

she looks like this

You should try carding them - that is what most breeders do. It's the only way I can get my females ready.. basically just place a piece of paper or cardboard between the pair, block their view from any other fish (the longer they are alone the more aggressive they are, which is what you want).. remove the paper/card once a day for 5-10 minutes. Condition them for about 5-14 days, depending on how long it takes until they are ready.

Feed high quality food such as live foods, frozen bloodworms and can throw in some top brand pellets or golden pearls.. but normally live and frozen worms are what gets them all egged up and wanting to breed. Feed often, 3-5 times a day at least.. feed the male the same as he will need a ton of nutrition/energy to survive the week+ he will be in the tank working hard and not eating.
