I am so nervous! I just released all my girls (6, in a 20G). They are all healthy and have no signs of infections or parasites. They all had regained vigor/strength and my emaciated one, though still small, is now a normal size. She may be small, but she is quicker than the rest.
So far, there has been mostly tank exploration and posturing with flaring. The three stoutest, whom I predicted before even adding them, have had some chases, body slaps, and one nip at a tail. But usually, once one flees, the other drops it.
It's moderately planted, and I intend to add more. I have wood I am preparing. I wanted to add them now though, as we have someone coming to look at our house, as we are trying to sell it, and gallon tubs of fish sprawled out everyone isn't exactly something I think people would enjoy seeing.
Tank is cycled, parameters perfect, and here's hoping I wake up and everyone is still a-ok. As of 5 minutes ago (which would be 5 hours into their being put in), no one has an injury. My one girl who always stress-stripes with water changes, she has some stripes, but she is the youngest/smallest and isn't clamped.
Hopefully I can get good pics of everyone tomorrow!
