Little black dots on my bettas fins!

Can you please post pictures and answer as many of the questions below as you can? It will really help us out to help your little guy!

Housing
What size is your tank? For now he's in a 1 gallon
What temperature is your tank? Mid 70's. it's around 77 right now.
Does your tank have a filter? No. I do 100 percent water changes every 3 days.
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? He did have one, but he hated it so I took it out.
Is your tank heated? I have a heater, but I read bad things about it over heating the tank and I am worried about cooking my betta.
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? He lives alone.

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? Top fin color enhancing betta bits. Dried blood worms, dried daphnia, and dried brine shrimp.
How often do you feed your betta fish? I was feeding him 6 pellets a day, but I did research and realized it was too much. I'm now feeding him 2-3 pellets or mixed dried foods every other day.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? Very often. Every 3 days.
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 100%

are the dots in a regular pattern, or spread randomly? lots of bettas have spots or stripes on their fins as part of their coloration.

That's his normal coloring. Spots usually show up in light colored bettas. No need to worry.

Thank you! I was worried lol. I love my little "triton" and I am working on a planted 10g for him. Just waiting on a lot of online purchases to show up before I can set it up.
