White spot

Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? Np
Is your tank heated? Yes
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? New snail

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? NLS betta pellets
How often do you feed your betta fish? Twice a day 3 pellets.

Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change? 50% weekly
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 50%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Prime

Water Parameters:
Have you tested your water? If so, what are the following parameters?

Ammonia: 0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:0
pH: 7.8
Hardness:idk
Alkalinity: idk

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? White spot on the top of his headm between his eyes.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? Not that I noticed
When did you start noticing the symptoms? Today
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Nothing. He is floating in a cup in his heated tank so I could take pictures.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? No
How old is your fish (approximately)? Got him December 17th, 2012.

He seems pretty mad to be in the cup <_<

So. What should I do? If something was wrong with the snail would it have really manifested that fast?
Edit: More pics.

Kind of looks like a fungal infection?

I can see something white in the pictures, but the photos are small on my computer, so it's difficult to see it well. Could he have bumped it on something, or scraped it against something? Does it look fuzzy at all?

Fuzzy would probably indicate a bacterial or fungal growth. But a scrap would look, well, kind of like a scrape on us, but their underlying tissue is white (whereas ours is pink).

It doesn't look fuzzy, it might be a scrape :X I covered the exposed plastic on the baffle today so hopefully it will heal up if that was the cause.

The pics are clickable so you should be able to see a bigger picture.
