Talking Yay, News!!!

Hey! Today I went out and made some new purchases for my beautiful betta! Just did added all the new stuff, and she is still getting used to it all. Here is the old list of products I had:

Old List:
Betta Female (Sunshine!)
2.5 Gallon tank w/ light
Un-adjustable Water Heater (10 watts)
Cheap filter that came with my tank
Gravel
Little plant
Aqueon Naturals Betta Pellets
Marimo Moss Ball

Now, I was worried for a few things... So I got some stuff... And my old filter took a poop on me...

New List (includes all above except cheap filter and the Aqueon Fish Food):
Terta Whisper 3i
New, larger plant with more fronds and thinner leaves
Thermometer
Omega One Betta Buffet

I hope to put on a few pictures of her adjusting to the new tank... She HATES the thermometer for some reason. Tried to attack it a lot. And she isn't sure about the new plant either...

I am so glad she will be happy in this new setting!

Good for you & her. They can be funny with new things in their tanks & if you re-arrange things. I have a male who pouts for a day or two if I change things up.

Believe me, your betta list will be almost never ending. Murphy's Law tankes over sometimes, as it did with me over the weekend. I got Chance all set up in his new tank, complete with sponge filter and heater. Then, the heater in Ty's tank blew! So all I have left is a small, not too effective heater for Chance's tank, now. I've ordered four more heaters, (wanna replace a few others) and some betta beds, as well as a gallon of stress coat and some new thermometers. spent well over a hundred bucks! But it's well spent if it's for my babies! LOL
