betta's sleeping patterns

this may seem like a stupid question, but i was wondering if people will share with me when their fish sleep and is most active. I leave home early and come home around 9 pm. I think i'm home just to see him sleep!

My fish is sort of random. He sleeps when he wants to. Sometimes he doesn't even wake up for food. Lazy bum.
