Fin rot "over"?

Hi all. My son's betta had fin rot. He had ragged edges with black tips. Started off mild, got worse for a while even as we upped the water changes and did a course of aquarium salt, but now it seems to have stopped. The rot isn't progressing anymore (don't see new raggedness or loss of fins), and the tips have gone from black to translucent.

Does this mean we're totally out of the woods now, do you think?

translucent/white edges mean new growth, so yes! the fin rot has stopped.

BUT.. fin rot comes back very easily after the first time.

I suggest keeping up the frequent water changes without the salt (it harmed them if used for a long time)
