Fish I've bred

This is a look at some of the fish I have bred so far. Some are adults while some are only young. I still have more photos to take.

As a note, my fish are fast, skittish and don't like bright lighting so my photos aren't always going to be great.

Betta burdigala

Betta uberis (I think mum and dad were spawning as she kept coming around and chasing everyone off so I only got one good shot)

Betta tussyae

Betta persephone

Two possible females

Betta unimaculata (grow to around 4 inches)

Thanks. I think most of the credit goes to my mum's camera haha. I just kind of point it at the tank and hope that at least one fish is in focus.

You know you can never have just one. They are like potato chips.

I think they're far more addicting than potato chips!! lol

Your fish are always a pleasure to see! I especially love the color on your persephone! (hopefully I spelled that right)

I love all of your fish! I wish I lived in Australia, I would've bought all of the persephone bettas you're able to sell if I lived there. :p Where do you get them?

Most of these are from Indonesia. Either wild-caught or they were bred by a man called Hermanus. My persephone are lifers. They were my holy grail of fish when I first got into wild bettas and I always managed to kill the pairs I purchased.

Here's a few photos of my Betta rutilans. These juveniles are out of a two year old pair (sadly I no longer have mum but I do have an older daughter to carry on the line).

They hate the camera so I only have a few quick snaps.

Then when I was doing that I look up and see two male persephone having a rumble. They look like hunchbacks in this photo haha

Like potatoe chips? Then I want a family sized bag of them, lol. My husband who doesn't get involved with my fish much saw some of your pics & said he wants to have those. Even people who aren't betta enthusiasts can't resist them.
