Pregnant Betta?

My betta, Fiona, has the silver belly that should indicate she is filling with eggs; however, Finnyus doesn't seem interested...no bubble nest! He chases her around a bit...fortunately they don't nip at each other.
If she doesn't produce any eggs, I don't have a problem with that...I just want to make sure that she'll be okay, even if the eggs don't get released...
If she won't be, should I try putting her in with another male? We have 3 tanks with males...only one crowntail female.
I've tried looking for the answer here, but haven't found one to this particular dilemma.

Most egg layers ware fine even if they don't drop their eggs. Some will absorb them back into their bodies and some will lay them infertile and they will get eaten.

As for getting them to finally mate, be patient. If she is just getting the signs for the first time and the male has not built a nest then maybe they are just too young or don't quite know how to "do it" yet.

Thank you Fish-4-all...that was my biggest concern; that if she doesn't get the eggs released, she'll still be ok...Thank you for some feedback.
