I am looking into revamping my tank,
My old filter burned up (It was a cheapie generic filter that I bought on ebay, I was never sure that it was working properly). I'm trying to find something more effective that would work in my 5 gal tank, and not bother my betta too much.
I came across the Aquatop PFE-1 filter, http://www.amazon.ca/Aquatop-PFE-1-A...936600&sr=1-16
I was wondering in anybody here had any experience with it, it seems fairly good for the price and it would definitely be a step up from what I was using before.
As it stands, this filter appears to have a fairly low outflow, which seems like a good thing in a betta tank. I'm not really sure how to choose a good filter though. If anybody has any suggestions, I'm all ears!
After looking a bit more, I've also come across the Marina S10 Power Filter, http://www.amazon.ca/Hagen-A285-Mari...938447&sr=1-22
which also seems pretty interesting. I like that it has a flow regulator, so I can actually adjust the flow. Would this be a recommended filter? It seems to get good reviews.
