Exclamation Help! Possible Broken Pectoral Fin!!

My betta was spooked when I turned off my light and flipped out of his tank onto a table. I as gently as possible put him back into his tank and proceeded to watch him to make sure he was okay. As I watched him I noticed him using only one of his pectoral fins to swim, I thought the other might have been ripped off during his accident which I soon discovered was not the case because a little while later I noticed him using both fins. He is swimming normally but is not fond of using his right fin anymore. When he does use it, it looks to be working fine and he is swimming normally. So, any thoughts? Suggestions?

My betta Esmeralda jumped out of her tank last week and fell 4 feet to the floor and proceeded to flop herself under an ottoman. When i finally managed to catch her and put her in her tank, she wouldn't use one of her fins. Later on she started using it and has been fine since. Maybe it is just strained or something. Or possibly just stuck to the body from landing on it. As long as he uses it again, I wouldn't worry. Do you have a lid for your tank?

Make sure he has a betta bed to rest on near the surface of the water this will be helpful and refuse stress on his body. If you want to know have to make one send me a PM. Give him some time and try to reduce stress, this includes the betta bed and leaving his lights off for a bit.
