thats a gorgeous veil tail!
well he doesnt look clamped. most likely just a little rip.
change the water often and make sure its warm so it doesnt get infected. if he starts to display signs of weakness or illness let me know.

Well I changed 50% of water and added 2 teaspoons of aquarium salt (1 teaspoon for every 5 gallons). And raised the temp to 82... He's swimming around more. But yesterday he was just stilling at the bottom. He would still come to the time to eat.

I agree.

Are there any plastic plants or hard/rough/sharp decorations in the tank? He probably injured his tail on something. They should not be acting lethargic because of a tail rip. because he perked up after a water change, it leads me to believe that you do not do enough changes.

um as a tea drinker, that seems like a real bad idea... regular black tea has quite a lot of caffeine in it & is pretty processed o_o maaaybe a non caffeinated organic herbal tea might work but idk. are you trying to add tannins to your water?

I've heard that green tea is fine but I would definitely be careful of what kind to use. Like some teas have lemon flavoring which I would imagine would burn and cause extreme pain to the fish... I could be wrong, though.

Indian Almond Leaves would be the safest leaf you could use to make tea.

Why not? Message Sakura8 about using green tea because I think she has mentioned it before... You could also use oak leaves, I believe.
