Question Strange question

i was feeding my bettas before i went to bed in the dark when suddenly i wondered this: do betta's have night vision?????
my bettas eventually saw the food and ate it, but i am wondering, it couldve just been the water movement caused them to notice it...... so was it?????

Hmm I don't know the answer but maybe someone else will. I'm also wondering if he found the pellet by smell?

I wonder this too, mostly because I like to sleep a whole.. lol. I googled this and found nothing :( they have no evidence yet, so I just open up my window shades and let in just enough moonlight so that he doesn't ram into things at night. :)
