Any sense of Eco Complete in 1,5 and 2 G Tanks?

It there any sence in using Eco Complete in small tanks since they anyway can not be sycled (that is what I read)?

Better just to put there gravel and drifeted wood with Anubias and moss ball?
I have some Eco Comlete left after planting my 5G tank...

aokashi Forgot to ask you if you keep Betta there or Shrimps. Also what level of substrate should be in 2G? 1 inch enough?

substrate level is really up to you, as long as you have enough to hold down plants it should be sufficient. I keep a betta and a few other fish in my eco complete tanks. they are 1 gallon and 2.5 gallons respectively. you can probably go up to 2in for rosette plants, but 1in is just fine.
