Hey there,
Sorry to hear your poor little guy is unwell. Unfortunately the symptoms that you describe are typical of many diseases commonly found in bettas. If you are able to post some photos of him then it may help us a great deal in diagnosing him for you. It is important to remember when dealing with any betta disease the sooner that they are diagnosed and treated the more successful the outcome may be so if you can get photos please post as soon as you can.

Hey there,

I took a look at your photos. His colour change appears to be due to stress, bettas often go very pale and display their horizontal 'stress stripes when they are feeling unwell or stressed. Does he also have fin rot? His fins just appear to be a bit jaggered however this may be his natural fin shape if he has always been like this.

Have you changed anything in his tank lately, reorganised decorations? or added new decorations, Got a new pet thay may be stressing him out? Moved his tank?

If not try doing a large water change of around 50% or more and see if that helps. I cannot really see any specific signs or disease however something is obviously stressing him out and we need to try to find out what it is as soon as possible. Let me know if you can think of anything that may have change in his surroundings or upset him.

Sorry your little guy is not feeling well. I would change his food right away as I have heard the wardley is not very good to many fillers and not enough protein to keep him active and healthy. New Life Spectrum Betta pellets are awesome they do cost more but so worth it. Also Omgea One is very good I have heard. Also two pellets a day is not enough , I would get the new food and give him 3 in the mornings and 2 or 3 at night and see how he does. Hope this helps and he will feel better soon.
