happy because my lps is awesome

Pet Lover's. it's the only place i buy bettas from these days. last week, my sister's girlfriend bought a Bearded Dragon, and we've been buying it stuff since. we went back today and bought it some more crickets, and other things to chill on. of course, i had to look at the fish.

the baby arowana was sold. as were most of the koi. but omg they had the PRETTIEST live plants! i want some so bad for my 10 gallon. :I and one little blue female betta left. the males weren't anything super amazing. the usual blues, reds, red and blue multis, but they had one unique boy in a bowl in back. i questioned it, wondering if someone had just left it there, but i was shocked to hear why he was back there.

they were actually treating him for a bacterial infection. treating him. not leaving him to rot in his cup. he was in a bowl, may half gallon to a gallon, and even had a bubble nest going.

that just.... really made me happy to hear. and see! if i can get up some cash, i might go buy some of their plants, or even that little guy...

I love stories like this!

I have a few good LPS, (chain ones, even!), and I'm so grateful! They know me there, and trust me about the fish, and I know for a FACT that my Petco treats their sick bettas! They brought a baby out 5 days after I pointed out that it was sick, and it looked SO much better!

I love my stores...
