LOL, I can only imagine a 7 inch betta. Man...there'd be no keeping one of THOSE puppies in a 1 gallon bowl... ;)

@ Jexx, I'd feed him several pellets, (like five or six) twice daily, and see what he does. If he starts to look tubby, cut him down, if he is still "normal" sized, then leave him there. They're not going to bloat in two days feeding, but you *will* be able to tell if he's getting rounder than he should be and cut back accordingly. :)

I'm glad that link was helpful to you. I found it when I was trying to figure out if my mystery girl might be a king (she looks like the king bettas sold at petco, but with more color) or if she was just an extra large betta. I'm still not sure, but decided it didn't matter, because I love her anyway. :)
