I've seen EE at Homes Alive and petland (who take horrible care of their bettas btw, Homes Alive does pretty good) in lethbridge Alberta. Also dragon scales and PKs at petland. Petland gets a nice selection of bettas, if only they could take care of them.

Wow....wish there was more variety of pet stores near Toronto like that....I've never even heard of Petland or Homes Alive....we used to have the odd Petcetera store.....you'd think that Toronto would have more options!

Sorry for hijacking the thread, btw.....and congrats on your new friend!

yeahh... a husband and wife run my lfs and they are super nice but... lets just say they have a hard time upkeeping everything. besides, I find it really theraputic just to go and care for animals. It's good karma. I volunteered for... two hours? today and later I got two 200 watt heaters and a brand new air pump with tubes, a valve, and the stone thing at the end all for FIVE DOLLARS on craigslist. I find that the more I help out there, the more I find good deals on stuff I need.
