Exclamation Betta Question

My brother's Betta keeps trying to attack its reflection. How do you stop the glass from having a reflection? Can you?

Unless it's completely dark somewhere in your house its almost impossible. It's the light that causes the reflection on the glass. Flaring is a good exercise for bettas, and makes their fins spread beautifully. He is really in no danger unless he injures himself in some way. You can prevent light from getting into the tank by using an aquarium background, paper, or just throw a blanket on it like I do sometimes so I can feed my assassin snails and catfish their blood worms without my betta searching the bottom for scraps :)
