Hi there (New)

Hi! My name is Mackenzie, but you can all call me Kenzie :)

I love drawing, getting tattoos, getting piercings, watching my fish, playing with my cat and doing word searches.

I have owned 3 Betta fish my whole life.

First one I owned was a rainbow colored Betta fish, I was about 9 years old when I had him. His name was Rainbow.

I own two male Betta fish. One is a double tail halfmoon red Betta named Mario, then I have another double tail halfmoon red/white Betta named Turkleton (Scrubs).

I'm still somewhat new to the whole Betta scene, but I love them :) never thought I'd love a fish this much.

If there's anything else you'd like to know just ask

Pics will be up soon :)

Turkleton, he was in a 1 gallon bowl in this pic. He's now in a 5.5 gallon tank :) he's much happier.

Mario, yes I know he's fat. He's fasting right now :) he's going on a diet.

Both my fish are in their own 5.5 gallon tank with a heater that keeps the water between 74-78 degrees F.

Thank you. I dont trust the people at petstores anymore.

They told me when i bought mario that hed do perfect in a 1 gallon bowl.

While he was in there first he was happy, i think it was cause he was out of that little cup.

But then 3 days later he stopped swimming and his color actually turned a really dull red.

After that, i only use that bowl for temporary homing. The people at petco really dont know what they are talking about, and most of them dont seem to care at all for the pets in their care.
