Beautiful little guy!
In the second picture, it looks to me like he has white, fuzzy patches. This could be Columnaris. It's caused by Flexibacter columnaris which is a gram-negative bacteria.
I recommend using API Furan 2, which contains two broad-spectrum furan antibiotics. If you can't get this, look for Jungle Fungus Clear. It's available at Walmart and contains the same two furan antibiotics.
Another option is to try Maracyn Plus or Triple Sulfa. Both of these medications contain sulfa drugs which are effective against gram negative bacteria. (Note: Maracyn Plus is NOT the same medication as either "Maracyn" or "Maracyn 2.")
I do not recommend using either Maracyn or Maracyn 2....
Maracyn won't work on Columnaris. It contains erythromycin, which is only effective on gram-positive bacteria.... And Maracyn 2 contains Minocycline, which is used for gram-negative bacteria, but many organisms are resistant to it.
I don't think he's only a month old. (Going by pictures posted in the Breeding forum.) However, if he is that young, I'm not sure how he'll tolerate the medications. Hopefully, someone who knows about babies will chime in here.
As for the fin rot, I think it's more important that you target the Columnaris, since Columnaris is the more "severe" disease. However, fin rot is often caused by gram negative bacteria, too. So treating the Columnaris should also treat the fin rot simultaneously.
