Smile New Tank Up and Running!

So I got my fish tank 2 weeks ago but couldn't get it set up until yesterday...All because my dad wanted to "modify" the book case holding up the tank.

Thanks! I plan on getting one this weekend. Petsmart gets new fish in tomorrow so either tomorrow night or Saturday morning.

Humm Anacharis don't go well with Betta fish, because of the high temperature for Betta fish (78-80 ideal temp), so unless you have other fish in mind, the Anacharis must go.

My Anacharis in my big tank begs to differ It should be just fine. I actually just got a second one to put in too because the first was doing so well.

Yup, instead of the Anacharis, try a Marimo moss ball, bettas love them and they're super hardy!

Vincent, why would the anacharis have to go? I'm pretty sure it's okay in warm water. I've read it can grow in temperatures up to 82*. Not sure how well, but...

Reinforcing the bookshelf is smart. The tank doesn't look huge, but water is suprisingly heavy! Looks nice though - any fish you add should be pleased!

Well, I already bought it and have no other tanks, so it's gonna stay whether it likes it or not. =p And honestly, I don't like marimo balls...
