Exclamation Constipation

How can I tell if my Betta (Bughuul) is Constipated, and if he is, how do I help him?

I do believe when they get constipated they dont float straight.. im not sure of that but i do know how to fix it... u need plain regular epsom salt... 1 tsp per gallon... dissolve it in a cup before adding it to his tank. fast him and treat him w the salt for 2-3days
hope he feels better soon

He is not floating sideways. He is swimming fine, but lazily

bettas tanks should be heated between 78-80 so raise the temp to about 79 or 80 and that should also help the little fella out if it is constipation

Fast him for three days, add Epsom salts at 1tsp/g, and raise the temp to at least 80. 75 is to cold.

epsom salt can be found at any pharmacy or even walmart. just make sure u get unscented and it has nothing added to it. its very inexpensive and very handy to have :)
