Need A Lamp

Hello. I have a 2.5 gallon tank. It came with a free light, however, I now have live plants. They don't seem to be doing well...

Do you know what type of lamps I should get? I am at a loss as to where to go and what type to get...

what tank do you have? if you want lighting, you are looking for a 6500k daylight bulb (range from 5000k-10000k) the light should not look orange. for a 2.5 gallon I would just recommend a clamp lamp ($6 at home depot ) and a 6500k cfl.

Go on eBay and look up desk lights. They are cheap and will provide warmth and lots of good lights. Some people use them in planted bowls.
