Exclamation Question for California and Las Vegas membera!

I just found out that my brother could be deployed this weekend, so I am going to visit him in Twentynine Palms tomorrow. Since I still need 1-3 females for my sorority, I thought I should look for some while I have the chance. Can any of you tell me any nearby places to get very colorful or unique females, or just bettas at all? I would really appreciate it! Also, I will be passing through Las Vegas on the way there and the way back, so if any of you know of any places there, please let me know ASAP!

Thanks guys

Sometimes this search engine yields names of promising shops:

http://fishstorefinder.com

Good luck, and if you find a nice store not on the fishstorefinder list, they request that you let them know about it, so they can add it to the list.

A Google search on "aquarium stores las vegas nv" yielded the following on page 1:

http://www.google.com/#hl=en&sclient...9&pf=p&pdl=300

Blue Reef Aquatics, Atlantis Tropical Fish and Aquariums, and Lance's Aquarium sound promising.

In Twentynine Palms there doesn't appear to be much, but a couple of places in Palm Desert, Indio and Yucca Valley are perhaps not too far.

I understand that first-hand accounts of some of these places are preferable, and perhaps someone who has such knowledge will jump in at any time.... Until then, you might give some of these places a call and ask specifically about bettas--whether they have them and whether they can get them.

A California member reporting in! Sorry to say that there really isn't anything here in Fresno County. Everything's real hit and miss.

Hi- Las Vegas member...Our Betta options are limited, though I got some nice ones at two of the Petcos here (we are lucky that some of our Petcos are pretty good, as big boxes go)

Trop Aquarium (https://www.facebook.com/tropaquarium ) has had some nice female crowntail juvies the last couple of times I was there. They are closed on Sundays.. Worth looking at.
