Try craigslist. Sometimes you can get a complete package for a good price. I just saw on one my local craigslist. It was a 5 gallon glass with lighted hood heater and small filter for 15 dollars

Thanks for all of the recommendations!

We had a family party and relatives came over and I asked them about owning a fish. Surprisingly, my uncle use to have fishes when he was younger and knew a lot about them. He brought me to petsmart and got me everything I needed.

I now have a 5 gallon tank as a starter and a small blue and black betta fish named Xshiphin (ex-shi-fin).

Everything is going well, nothing wrong with anything. I also have a few questions, Do fish sleep? I mean, should I keep the light on 24/7 or partially?

they do sleep! and they can't close their eyes, so it's important for them to have time in the dark. you can leave the light on for about 8-10 hours every day and then turn it off, or if your parents have a timer, you can ask them to set it for you to turn it on and off automatically.
